When Brooke was a Sophomore in high school she needed to take her P.E.credit, but didn’t want to be stuck with the freshman in P.E. so after being convinced by her mom she registered for weight training class. She walked in not knowing a single workout on her program and by the end of the year she received the Advanced Physical Education Student of the year award. After cheering for four years in high school and running her first half marathon her senior year she decided to pursue a Degree in Exercise and Wellness and graduated Cum Laude from Arizona State University. After marrying her high school sweetheart, she worked as a personal trainer, group trainer and in corporate fitness until they had their first baby boy in August of 2014. Shortly after having their son Brooke started her health/fitness Instagram account (@carlsonfit) and began virtual personal training from home to keep her passion for fitness alive. She is now pregnant with a baby girl due in July 2016! Brooke is a NASM certified personal trainer and certified TRX instructor. She has run 11 half marathons and one full marathon as well as shorter distance races.
